Sitting on the freezing bench with the cold Georgia morning air blowing through the bleachers, I can barely contain myself! It's been 2 months and 3 days since I've seen Sean. We got in early evening yesterday and woke up before the sun this morning to get here in time for the briefing for his Sargent. There's a loud yell and the first platoon comes out and does there thing and runs back. This is it! I have my phone out and start recording as soon as I hear company two yelling from beyond the hill. Where is he? Not tall enough... he's tall but no glasses... His mom mom taps my leg and points.
"There he is" Stevie, his youngest brother, says excitedly. Yep, there he is. I have a smile from ear to ear. He's so handsome, marching tall and proud. After the whole company finishes showing off we get to go down and find out Soldiers in amongst the green sea. I look over at his mom and stepdad anxiously excited.
"Go ahead, find him." She says sweetly. And with that his brothers and I run off to find him on the blacktop. I know my Seanie and I see him right away, we make eye contact and he smiles brighter. I run faster, darting between all the other happy reunions and hug him tight. This is home. This is happy.

Such a vivid scene!
